Information for Kindergarten and School Visits

Schools and kindergartens can visit Vitensenter Nordland either to take part in an educational program or to explore the exhibition on their own.

Booking

Visits must be booked in advance due to limited capacity.

Bookings can be made by:

  • Contacting us at post@vitensenternordland.no, or

  • Using online booking where available

Schools and kindergartens arriving without a prior booking will be treated as regular visitors and may explore the exhibition at the current group rates, subjects to available capacity.

Prices for schools and kindergartens

Schools and kindergartens benefit from seperate reduced rates.

Admission

  • Kindergarten children: 65 NOK

  • Primary and lower secondary students: 65 NOK

  • Upper secondary students: 65 NOK

  • Teachers, kindergarten teachers and assistants: Free

Educational programs

  • Kindergarten children: 65 NOK

  • Primary and lower secondary students: 65 NOK

  • Upper secondary students: 65 NOK

  • Teachers, kindergarten teachers and assistants: Free

Accompanying adults

Teachers, kindergarten teachers and assistants accompanying the group receive free admission.

Other accompanying adults are admitted free of charge as long as the number does not exceed:

  • 1 adult per 6 kindergarten children, or

  • 1 adult per 10 students

Additional accompanying adults beyond this limit pay the regular admission price.

Payment

If you would like an invoice, a purchase order must be delivered at reception upon arrival or sent by email to post@vitensenternordland.no.

If the kindergarten or school does not have its own purchase order from, you may use our form:

An administration fee of 75 NOK applies to invoices below 500 NOK.
